Vishal Agarwal, founder and CEO of ItsaCheckmate, is an entrepreneur and digital marketer who believes that the best solutions are brought to life through constant innovation, solid engineering and the capacity to behave like a startup regardless of which stage a company has reached. ItsaCheckmate integrates multiple online ordering sources such as UberEats, Caviar, DoorDash, Delivery.com, Ritual and many others directly to restaurant POS systems including Brink, Toast and Revel at a flat monthly pricing.
Prior to the successful launch of his own venture, Vishal spent three years with Tata Consulting Services before serving as executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Choxi, an ecommerce company that grew to $340 million in yearly annual revenue within the first four years of operation. During his tenure, he helped raise $52 million in venture capital funding while spearheading Choxi’s digital marketing efforts, which earned the company top honors from Internet Retailer in 2014. Vishal’s experience working in a startup environment combined with an analytical, disciplined and a numbers-focused mindset culled from four years at Citigroup gave him a cohesive business perspective and a vision of how a company can and should be run.
Vishal studied commerce at Delhi University and graduated with honors in 2003. In 2005, he earned his MBA in marketing from the K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research.
