Josh Patchus

Josh Patchus is the Founder and Chief Data Scientist of PXY Data, a data design agency helping restaurant and retail brands solve their most complex business problems with customer insights and smart technology solutions. Previously, Josh was the Chief Data Scientist & Director of Technology at CAVA, the high-growth Mediterranean restaurant brand. Through building tools, custom benchmarks, and apps, Josh built an award-winning culture of data at CAVA, making both internally business practices and the guest experience innovative and intelligent.

Josh's career also includes data science roles at a consumer technology companies including Gamechanger, LivingSocial, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Josh earned both his Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Statistics from the George Washington University. He is an avid data lover even in his hobbies: sports, weather, transportation, and coffee. Josh even uses spreadsheets to track all the coffee shops he visits and Liverpool matches he's watched… he hasn't missed one in nine years.
