Born and raised in San Diego, CA, one of Alex Adler’s biggest passions has always been food. With the Adler’s strong Mexican heritage, elevated tacos were a staple in their house, friends would frequently visit the household and enjoy authentic chef-driven tacos that were all made from scratch.
Having graduated from NYU, Alex worked at Google, Facebook and Uber which gave him the knowledge and experience in marketing, social media, advertising and client strategy. Alex’s love for the restaurant industry stems from his love for food and its ability to transport people mixed with his passion for business & entrepreneurship. It comes as no surprise that Alex made the prestigious Forbes ‘30 Under 30’ list for 2019 at the age of 25 since founding Puesto at the age of 19 with his brothers and cousins.
After almost seven years with Puesto, every trip the Adlers take is used as an opportunity to grow their vision of Puesto, allowing for opportunity to learn from the amazingly talented group of chefs across the brands numerous locations stemming from Southern to Northern California.
Puesto has gone onto win numerous accolades including San Diego Magazine’s Best Restaurants, Thrillist’s 12 Most Important Restaurants in San Diego and SD Reader’s Tacolandia Winner for Best Taco.
